Alan taught and coached me when I was a youngster. He taught me the love of Rugby Union , the joy of playing with your team mates , to play the GAME and to hold up my side of the "bloody scrum". He taught me these and MANY more other foundations which I hold to in life . Alan loved life and we loved Alan.

We will all remember Alan for his kindness and jolly personality. He and Santa were very closely related and this is how our children, who although now grown up, always think of him. He has touched our lives even though we met him infrequently. He was a lovely man.
