Allan you were a great mentor and friend to Toby and I. You were always able to see the funny side of most situations. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with you over the years that we worked together and the years following. While it saddens me that I won’t be able to speak with you again, I have a collection of the drawings that you faxed to me which are a great reminder of your personality. Bill never questioned or doubted our friendship which started 60 years ago in Box Hill South State School . He was the same Bill all through all the years - he did things his way and he got a real thrill from being himself. His sense of humour never dimmed and he found all his pleasure in his friends and family - never wanting more than that. We wont forget you Bill - Geoff and Deirdre
