Growing up with you always made my life interesting...telling everyone how you couldn't wait to put your arm around me on the bus ride to your house in 3rd grade was the cutest thing youve ever done..I'll never forget you teaching me how to play frogger on the original playstation and how we would play for hours and hours until dinner...Sitting on a couch watching you walk in the room with a whole package of salami and just shoving all of into your mouth completely showed your character... you were always one to create smilies upon peoples facess, you always kept things interesting.. your amazing, and always will be.. i love you always and forever and ill be up there one day and run up to you and give you a giant hug and tell you how much i missed you over the years! keep watching down over me and everyone elsee, your the best! I LOVE YOU SOO MUCH BEN<3

Ben, you were amazing. Though I did not know you well all the pictures and tributes around make me feel like I did. I know you were a awesome kid, a sick skater and most of all lit up the room with your contagious smile. Yesterday was one year since you have been gone and I still don't know why it had to happen to you. Hope you are having a fun time up there in heaven and I know you are looking down on us. We miss and love you a lot Ben. Rest Easy. 04/09/08

Ben was a great kid... Always smiling and quick with a joke. He always had a new hat and he loved taking pictures of himself in them... It's hard to think about... If the webmaster of this site could tell me where he is resting... I need some closure... Thank you for this site... gray

i miss seeing you everyday in the halls Ben, you were always smiling, and in a good mood. I loved seeing your new shoes, and hats. They always matched perfectly. Alex, I barley new you, but it seemed I did, by seeing your face everywhere I go now. Lake Shore Park misses you Alex. We miss you both. I think about this accident all the time. And I never stop. I wish this didn't happen, you died to young. Every time I see the memorial I break down in tears. i love you and miss you two so much. see you soon.<3

I am truly sorry for your loss. He looked like the kind of person who was so full of life and made others happy just to be around him. Again, I am truly sorry. May God hold him in his arms and give you all the strength to carry on until it's time for you all to meet again. God Bless you all.

We have so many memories of Ben we can't choose just one. We cherish and think about constantly his smiles, his laughter, his "zannyness", his spontanious wit, and geniune love for life, his family and friends.

One of my best memories with Ben is the day I took him to the Tony Hawk Boom Boom Huk Jam. I first of all know nothing about skateboarding and I had won the tickets on the radio and only tried because I knew I wanted to take Ben. When we saw Tony Hawk walking towards us Ben turned into this little boy and he was soooo happy and excited he almost couldn't keep it together. So then he asked him for a picture which I had to take while they were walking. Ben was so happy he had his picture with him he kept looking at it. Then we watched the actual show and it was of course great, but just to see him that happy made me even happier!
