He hated being called boss; but, he was a great one. When I was a very young Warden at El Reno, he encouraged me, challenged me, and often did not provide answers for me letting me figure it out for myself. I learned a great deal from him, so much about people, so much on how to treat people, and so much on what to expect from people. He lived his life each day as a treasure from God. He challenged all of us to do the same.
Charlie and Bev took us into their home and fed us, gave us a place to sleep and comfort. INspite of the danger that they could have been placing themselves in at that time, (because of Sarah escaping from her drug friends.) Charlie you touched my life and my children's lives. You have left your mark in our lives forever.
