A dear sister in our Lord Jesus Christ, a lovely friend, a tremendous hostess, a great fun-lover, a talented musician, a lover of the Lord's people and a great helper. Yet Evelyn would rather push someone forward to play a public role, while she herself would "cheer from the sidelines". She will be sorely missed not only from the local assembly (church) where she fellowshipped at Cardiff NSW, but the little singing group "Friends for Life" who she was happy to support as we went together into various Aged Care Facilities will also miss her greatly. Blood-bought, reconciled, forgiven, Here Thy love we want to show, Waiting till above in heaven, All Thy glory we shall know. O, the joy, the wondrous singing, When we see Thee as Thou art; Thy blest name, Lord Jesus, bringing Sweetest music to God's heart ! Notes of gladness, songs unceasing, Hymns of everlasting praise, Psalms of glory, joy increasing, Through God's endless day of days. With continued thanks to God for the joy of knowing Evelyn and warm messages of love and sympathy to her family (known and unknown).
