I grew up next door to the Armsons down at the bottom of Douglas Haig St in Oatley. I remember Fred was a legend in our house for how hard he worked to support his large family. As I recall, he'd work all day delivering Orchy orange juice then run the projectors at night at the cinema at Beverly Hills. I still remember going to films there- I think he might have given us free tickets. I've still got memories of playing in the backyard and down in the park with Paul and the others.
