Great uncle Rowan was an amazing man, spending his life to help others. One downside was his typical awful doctors handwriting !! and Mum and I spent hours and hours and HOURS with a magnifying glass trying to decipher all his letters, especially those relating to family history, what a family reunion they will all be having in heaven now, God Bless you Rowan.

He was a fun person, enjoyed all his friends and loved life and laughter. He had few regrets, not marrying again after the death of his beloved Mary, and therefore the opportunity for his own children. Was an extremely generous man in all he did. He will be remembered with much affection by his friends across the world. I shared many pleasant dinners and Operas with this admirable man when I lived in Sydney. His "Dance of Life' has ended. Kathy O'Neill, Auckland.
