Jim was an excellent role model and always approached his work with a smile. He was an integral prat of the restructuring of the electricity generation industry. his wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.

Even though we'd lost touch in recent years Jim was a friend who could always be relied on to fight for his ideals. Jim knew the electricity business like the back of his hand, had the strongest of ideas on where it should go, and pursued those ideas as hard as anyone. My great sympathy to Julie and the family - Jim will be sadly missed.
