John Muldoon was one of the last of a fine breed. He and his brother Tony had integrity - a powerful desire to their chosen jobs very well indeed - with an admirable disinterest in money and personal advancement.
John will be remembered by hundreds of past students and colleagues for these qualities. His premature death is a great loss to the Lismore Community.
I write this from Jakarta and profoundly regret I could not attend his funeral
Vale dear John

John Muldoon was a witty, engaging and interesting man. He was respected and loved as a teacher for many years at Richmond River High School in Lismore. He had a passion for his pupils, his subject and the school, and was well liked by colleagues, students and parents. His gifts as a teacher will be long remembered by all who knew him. He was a friend to many and was forever optimistic, modest and enthusiastic. Vale John.
