I miss you a lot today, Jo. We had such great chats. If you were still here I'd ring you up and we would talk about our sons, our men, our art and our relationship with the great mystery of life. You are still larger than life to me, Empress.

Missed you all these years Jo, your clever wicked sense of humour, your generous caring spirit, your courage and your tremendous love of fun! Wished I had seen you before you left us.....

I am so sorry Jo, I only just found out about your passing. I hope you are in a place full of music and sexy lingerie -love always Melynda

Thank you for being a beautiful aunty who loved, welcomed and cared for me all the way through my life. I appreciate that you inducted me into the realm of fashion, make-up and retail therapy and hosted our 2008 Melbourne Shopping Week. Your consistent courage, kindness and uniqueness will be missed by all. I greatly apologise for not spending enough time with you before your death and I wish that there could be more moments that we could spend together

We didnt know eachother well ...but i saw you many times.Im sorry you had to go, this poem is for you.and those that you have left behind.
Why smile in such sadness?
Its because of the memories
of laughter shared in the past
the humour of life, the fun and the joy,
The reminiscences certain to last.
Why relief in such sadness
its because there is peace
with no more chance of pain
no one can hurt, nor take away
there will never be fear again
Rest Now Golden Beauty

Fun, feisty, creative, intelligent- your presence at the 'beauty nights' will be greatly missed. Condolances to Lachlan and Finn,
Love from Olivia Forsberg and family.

Josephine modeled and interpreted this design for me at the 2005 Australian Design Awards. The delighted judges had not seen such dangerous curves on a catwalk before. This outfit became the main costume for her "Miss Josephine " show in the same year. Josephine was and always will be an inspiration for me. She knew what it meant to live your life to full of your creative abilities and savor every moment .

Much loved friend, words cannot describe what an amazing woman you were, and forever will be in my heart. Melbourne has lost an incredible performer, with immense stage presence, a woman with the ability to make everybody fall in love with her when she was on stage. A dear friend, I will miss our chats, I will and do miss you. Much love to Finn your beautiful son, Lachlan and all your family and friends. I'm sorry I can't be there to celebrate your life.
