07/06/2011 Just heard today that a friendly former workmate, Ken, has passed away. Sorry I did not get to say farewell Ken. Out of all the people at the tractor place you were the one who always had time for a chat and a joke. I had some pretty crappy times there and you were the one who very often cheered me up. I'll miss the drink after work and the stories you had to tell. You were so proud of your family and their loss is immense. Your genuinely good heart is a rare thing these days. A memory...One day Mick and I. ..larking around...decided to pay a visit to Ken while he was in his office we took a roll of duct tape and we tried to tape him up. The big guy brushed us off like we were flies. It was a lot of fun and that was the kind of man he was. Just a darn good bloke, a rare one at that. See you again some day Kenny. Deepest sympathy to the Bowring family, Alex Hallam
Will miss your cheeky smile, your great "G'day" and your big heart Ken. Love to you Chris, and all your beautiful kids. You're in our hearts, Bek Hyde & family.X
