Very shocked to read of the passing of Leslie. He was my art teacher in '77 and inspired me to believe in my ability, to see the world as I wanted, not the way I was told. What a remarkable man who provided me with the framework for a great life in the arts. RIP. Michelle Ehlers

Shocked to hear of your passing Les. I remember your visits to our home in Albury when I was young. You were the one who gave me an appreciation of art and classical music. I thank you for your encouragement after my parents died in 1963. Thank you again Ian Quast
