It has been our privilege to have know Mark both in business and personally for over 14 years. Mark was an excellent Electrician with a no nonsense attitude that made him a valued and highly successful businessman and a sought after tradesman. Last year Mark and I celebrated our 50th birthdays together at the Hunter Valley. A weekend to be remembered and more recently we went camping at the farm with Mark and his mates. It was the weekend of the NRL Grand Final and we drove into Sofala to watch the big game. As you can imagine Mark lead us on the 4WD journey of our lives to get there with the back of the troopie pack to the top and the Parra flags hanging out the side. One of the neighbours took offence at us passing through his land but after a few words from Mark he decided it was all OK and he joined us for the afternoon. Mark was a generous and loyal friend to many and his passing will leave a void in our lives. David & Nicole Nicholas

To my dear friend Mark What a life we lead eh, always striving to be happy and having a good time I have known you for most of my life and never got to catch up as much as we should have. I want to thank you for all good advice and all the good you have done for the community. I miss your funny conversations and your great sense of humour. I hope that one day we will see each other again and may your kids Brittany and Daniel always respect and understand how much they mean to you and that their love love for you will never die.
