I remember Mama being very strong in faith, always believing and trusting God when things looked grim. He was her Rose of Sharon, Lily of the Valley, Bright and Morning Star was all the names she called Jesus, plus a doctor in a sick room, lawyer in a court room, wheel in the middle of the wheel, Savior and Redeemer. She would make us sing for hours at home. We would have Bible study time and pray together. She believed when she got sick that God would heal her if that was His will for her. She was a great inspiration to others and encouraged unity and love amongst those she loved. No one can break the family bond that she created among us. Thank you, Mama for your courage, strength, wisdom, spirituality, love, support and hard work. It's not easy raising 6 kids of your own plus those nieces, nephews, and our friends who adopted you as their own. You are truly missed still! I love you!
