My name is Max Garlick. I am 31 and live in California. I am an adolescent psychologist and have dedicated my life towards helping youths in foster care. In hearing the stories of your Max Garlick I am inspired to reach beyond my current potential and do more with my life. I hope i get to live as long, as loved, and as blessed of a life as Max Garlick. My aim will be to share as much as I can and hopefuly one day gain the merit to have beautiful people write about how I have influenced and enriched their lives.
Max was a huge part of my life growing up and a good friend to my mum and dad, he was a big enough influence in my life that we named our son Max. My parents and I would of love to have been able to attend his funeral but we werent sure when it was.. See you when the Mud dries Max xx
When Max and Nancy returned to Australia the continued their ministry through the Castle Hill Baptist Church. Max was the leader of the Mission Committee and sought to keep the Lord's heart for mission outreach before the Church family. He was loved and admired by many.
Max was a faithful servant of the Lord in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. He was always ready to the second mile in the support of those he might have felt were more on the front line than he was. There are many APCM missionaries and many from other mission agencies as well who owe a great debt of gratitude to this faithful servant of the Lord.
A faithful caring servant of The Lord and of missionaries, particularly of APCM, in transit through Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. I have to admit Max frightened the life out of me by, I thought, by overtaking on blind corners in the Ella Beach area of Moresby. How was I to know that the road there was one way traffic! Max is now with his Maker - which is far better. With love, Richard and Kath Banner.
