My grandad Norm was a man who lead a full life and who touched all that crossed his path. An Australian war hero who bravely fought to give the generations that followed freedom, a man that that never spoke about his hardships. I'm so proud to call you my grandfather. You always had had a kind word to say, a smile to give and a twinkle in those blue eyes that always warmed my heart. I feel blessed to have had the time I did with you, the stories, your life memories, the chuckles and the quiet moments of reflection will always be treasured. There is now a void that will never be filled and the world is a less richer place without you in it. The memory of you will always be cherished and close to our hearts.

So many memories. Far too many to recount. To me, he was the best grandfather anyone could ever have. Love, laughs, patience and lessons in ongoing abundance. An influence in my life too great to count. Althought I had you in my life for such a long time, it will never be enough. I can't quite believe I will never again hear your cheerful, happy voice. Never again will I hear you laugh, tell a joke, tell me you love me. I wish I could have told you even one more time how important you were to me, how much you were loved. Claire & Owen miss you too. We are so proud of you and love you so much. Thank you for being our Grandpa. Thank you for being in our lives. Thank you for being you.
