Dearest Penny. You were a wonderful friend, support and confidante at a time when we all needed you. It was a privilege to have met you, shared the experience of mother hood and enjoyed time with your family who my thoughts and wishes go out to. You will be greatly missed x

My dearest Penny, I wish that I kept in contact after Uni. You were alway a happy person from the time we met as children, visiting each others family. Going to Georgie Pie, watching Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe., etc. Such good family friends we were. I remember the time we sang karaoke with Arnie, Dil, Sanji and Lotto in Sanji's room, it was all great fun in the hostel. I still have photos of it all. Your father alway send news about you and your sisters to my father and it was always a delight to hear that everyone does well. But now you are gone so quick and sudden. I always thought that we would catch up sometime in the near future and swap tales about ourselves. You leave a daughter and her father behind. I suppose that one day Sophie will learn about her mother who was very talented in many things. There would be enough pictures, film and stories about you to give Sophie an idea of what a great person you are and how wonderful a mother that you would have otherwise become. I know that your sisters and parents will keep an eye out for your daughter because you have a great family. I will sorely miss you. I had so much things to talk to you about. My dearest Penny, I greatly love you and pray that your lovely family will be comforted at this time. Rest in peace my dearest friend, John H Young.

Penny, when I close my eyes I can still hear your lilting voice, your glorious giggle. You were such a warm, honest friend. Even though we saw little of each other I thought I could always sense your benign presence on the other side of the world. My world is a poorer place for your loss. I cannot imagine the immense hole your absence will leave in the lives of those closest to you.
