I am very sad to have just learned that Rhonda passed away in May 2011. I knew Rhonda for several years and met her in my early working career. Even though I had not been in contact with her for many years she was in my thoughts from time to time as I admired her very much. She was passionate and dedicated in all her work which always involved improving the lives of everyone in the community. She truly thrived on engaging with people, and I have fond memories of her joyously playing the piano and her piano accordion for community groups and at social functions. As a boss she was inspiring and fun to work for, she lead with great vision and trusted us as her delegates to achieve what was required. She was a very warm and generous hostess who opened her home to family and friends with food, wine and dancing! I remember her as a woman who DID change the world and made a positive impact to many, many lives in a range of social and community services; not to mention the memorable impact on the hearts and minds of her family and friends. My belated and sincere condolences go out to Gerald and family. Respectfully, Donna Mason Sydney
Well this has certainly been a shock. Rhonda was my parents neighbour at Terrigal. She was a very loving person and would do anything for anyone. Rhonda will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. My heart goes out to all her family, especially her husband Gerald. Gerald, you will have lots of great memories to treasure and we will be thinking of you at this sad time.
