I knew Richard in the early days at Websters Investigation a Great bloke and always very engaging a gentlemen. I am sad to hear of Richards passing. Words are always hard to find at this time but Richard gave a lot to the people he came in contact with and that will always be with us. Our thought to Eddie and Richards family. Kurt Hippe

I first met Richard when working at UNSW, in the mid to late nineties I think. He was engaging, direct and genuine. He was very funny. Talk about gather a crowd! How bored university office workers would flock! Since that time we've always stayed in touch and I have been very glad to work with Richard on projects, swap experiences about the legal profession, seek and accept his counsel and of course, listen to his funny, sensitive or shocking stories. Richard, there are so many of us who will miss your charm, your warmth and your friendship. Our love to you and your family.

Richard will always be known to me as Peter Pan, always with a story to tell of life in England and other shores and a bloody good 'port drinking partner' in the early days of Richards life in Australia. You taught me to appreciate 'Tom Waits' Ry Cooder' and J.J Cale all in the early hours of the morning greatly inebriated, you will be missed my friend but we have the memories. Brian W
