I miss you coming round almost every thursday, you were part of the family, like an uncle to me. I still remember how you tried to teach me maths, you were so passionate about it and spent ages helping me but you would always make me laugh! I've now got the photo of you me and your mum on the pasta making day, on my desk and each time i'm studying i see it and it always makes me smile.
I loved the time that you and Nick took us all went to china town and we embarrassed trav and sung him happy birthday! and when you would sing the single ladies song so loud in the car!!
I loved it when you babysat for me when mum and dad went away and when you organised parties while mum and dad were away! it feels like only yesterday.
You were always the life of the part always smiling and brightening up the room.
I miss you. Em xx

Picky-back on the shoulders, covering you under my raincoat, playing cars, roof climbing adventures, stories under the sheets, climbing into the pram with you, fish 'n chips on the post office window ledge, dinks, not helping you with schoolwork (sorry), hugs, wrestling, rosebud beach days, hamilton island, lina teasing, my girls, your kids, submarine, pacifism/war, your recorder, your 1st suit at 1, your tears with dinner (I felt it more), dam building, cracker nights, on our dinghy at st. kilda beach, cubby houses, home-made pinball machines...i always thought we would have time to reminisce , now i'm just talking to myself...Do you believe in Jesus...love always brother...Rocky

One year on and we miss you more than ever. How to breath each day without you in this world, words cannot express what your loss means to us.

It was too early to go. Will miss you forever.

My family and I were saddened by your passing. We will always remember you as being full of life and humour and one to always enjoy the moment.
In your work you had the guts to make things happen when everyone else hesitated and in your life you created a beautiful family. It was a pleasure to work with you and to be your friend.
I'm sorry that we won't be able to make those wonderful Romeo cooking recipes that we talked about and drink that glass of red wine. You could have made it on masterchef, I'm sure!
I'll miss the office cappucinos, the card games and your good laughs.

And the roll of the dice ! (that you kept in your pocket)

I don't think a day will ever go by when we do not think of you, you were a great dad, friend, ally in this child rearing thing...... I miss your voice on the end of the line, twice a day, and your ridiculous sense of humour.
If I didn't know you, I wouldn't like you. If I didn't like you, I wouldn't love you. If I didn't love you I wouldn't miss you. But I did, I do and I will. Lola, Travys and AmberXXX

Romeo, I only found out today. I'm going to miss you mate. So many memories came back to me today......
I remember you standing next to a huge diesel genset, belching fire and smoke, poppet valve open, in full turbo mode, and your immaculate white shirt without a spot on it. Unbelievable...
I remember the day you asked me for my advice, and I couldn't give you any...
I remember that you always had advice for me...on any topic...
I remember the smile and the jokes...the laugh...
I remember how proud you looked if someone tried to insult you by calling you a sailor...
I remember you telling me about the day you tried to land a plane in a strong cross-wind...
I remember the little beat up black suzuki...the back pack...
I remember the signature white shirt....always spotless...
I remember the coffee machine...Italian
I remember the timesheets....
You were my mentor. I always looked up to you. It was an honour to know you Romeo, and to have worked with you. You were a great human being and a patriot. You were also one of the finest engineers I have ever known. A real engineer. I will miss you mate.
