Well here's another sweet memory. My dear sweet Russ bought me a chiminea on his way home from work in Texas. I was so happy an proud of it. One night Heath, Heather, Curtis Dement, Jake Morgan an Sean Harmon were enjoying using the chiminea. Well they get a bright idea an start using BIG pieces of firewood. Guess what happens, yeap, they bust it. Oh boy were they worried about what I was gonna say. They knew I was not gonna be happy. They went to WalMart @ midnight or somewhere around that time to try to buy another one. Of course they had no luck. So next morning I went to work, Hoot told his daddy they went to work to get it fixed. They gorilla glued it and took red clay and rubbed over it. It looked good, but you could still see a crack. That evening I get home from work I see a new tree that's been planted. Hoot felt guilty about breaking the chiminea so he went an bought me a tree. His guilt tree is blooming and I wouldn't take nothing for the crack in my chiminea.

How about this... this is my fondest memory with Heath. It was april the 8th of last year and me and heath was pretty bored so we decided to go fish holiday creek... we drove all the way to bunker hill got soakin wet and didnt catch a dern fish. So, wet cloths and all we piled back up in heaths truck and headed toward the house.. on the way back i spotted a big o gobbler in a field.. i said to heath either you suit up and go out there and hunt that turkey or im gonna squeez my big end in your camo and go out there. He suited up and i dropped him off and drove his truck around. I kept passin by to check on his progress and kept seein the turkey but no heath. i sent him a text and he told me he was about to crawl out there.. next time i drove by i saw him out there crawlin towards that turkey i busted out laughin sayin to myself he is gonna spook that dern turkey.. aint no way he'll get it. I passed by several more times to the same sight, but the last time i passed there was no heath and no turkey i thought to myself well he's done spooked it. so i called and it was busy cause he was tryin to call me and finally my phone rang and he was all out of breath yellin HE'S DOWN! HE'S DOWN! i was like yea whatever you spooked him and sure enough he came runnin out the woods with that big joker throwed over his shoulder we struck out to my house and showed mama and took us a picture and got it put in the paper we was so tickeled. I'll never forget that. Heath was like a brother to me and i loved him to death. The Wesleys are like a 2nd family to me. I will never forget heath he was my best friend in the world.. Ms Rita Mr Rusty and Heather I love yall so much and anytime yall need anything or just want me to come over there and get on yalls nerves just let me know...

Rita, Regretfully, I never knew Heath. But, from working with you the last 2 years at WMP, I know that I have missed out on meeting a very special young man! He would have to be special, to have been raised by such a special mother. It is so evident from the pictures and the memories that have been shared that he was full of life, fun and love for his friends and especially his famiy. You and your family are in all my thoughts and prayers. (I truly miss seeing you every afternoon , coming in to wash and refill your coffee pot!) I love you.....Shirley Porter

Heath was my "boyfriend" in the 7th grade.(5 years ago) Our families decided to go on a camping trip one weekend to little black creek. It was a really pretty day and Mr Rusty decided to cook some crawfish. Not exactly sure if he meant to or not but he made them so hot that the kids ate one a piece and drank one whole coke! Its little things like that that i remember the most. Heath and I only dated 3 months but boy did we think we were in love. ha ha. After we "broke up" we remained friends. Heath was a friend to everyone and you couldn't help but love him. Saturday, March 7th, we rode 4 wheelers at georgetown. It was the first time i had been around him in a while. We had a blast. He made Matthew and I hit everything first and would scream "i'm right behind yall." And sure enough here he come. I miss him so much already. The pain will get better in time with the prayers and GODS hands. I love you Heath!!

Heath was my brother. We had soo many memories together. We were very very close and only got closer each day. He not only was my brother, he was my best friend. We stuck together through everything. We recently went to the mountains this past christmas and me and heath had a blast. We went skiing and heath decides he wants to go down the biggest ski slope after only going down the beginner one time, and of course I was right behind him. Well he crashed comin righr off the ski lift so I stopped and helped him and then I crashed and he just skiid right by me and said need help pretty lady and kept goin. It was so much fun! I miss him so much. Love you heath.

I did not know heath as a person only a face from school and what a handsome face he had. But I am glad I can take this opportunity to say I am so sorry for you all. I have never lost anyone that close to me so I can only imagine the pain you are feeling. I post this comment in hopes that it will ease your mind, if only for a split second, to know that you and your family and friends have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Love ones , words can never say how sorry we are for the loss of Heath , Dorita reminded me of the video you showed us one holiday of Heath singing in the bathroom and he didn't know you were recording him, that was so funny. I am sure you have lots of fond memories of him and that is what we have to hold onto and cherish, Just know I am here for you and I promise God will make it easier as time goes by. But for now just love one another ,hold one another. Always say I LOVE YOU, that is one memory you will always have. LOVE AUNT NOOT

Rita, how often you and I would think back to when Heath was so little and wanted a pig. Charlie wasn't satisfied until he found him one. I remember when the pig got away from him, Charlie had to chase it through the fields, falling down, and not exactly saying the nicest things. ha!ha! Charlie said it took 20 years off of his life! After all that Charlie went through Heath names the poor little pig after him. That is just one of the many memories we have of Hoot. What an awesome young man Heath had become. Hold tight to your memories and cherish them, because I can tell you for a fact that they will bring you comfort and joy even when you least expect it. p.s. I'll never forget all the times he brought me ice cream! How sweet is was!! I love you all! Brenda :)

Rusty, Rita, Heather, and Carson, We are deeply saddened by your loss and the loss that the entire community has suffered. Heath was certainly a fine, young man. I have enjoyed viewing the pictures here and I love the Mountain Stomp memory. :) I particularly remember with fondness, all the Sundays when I would ask Bro. Bill about Heath and his riding motor cross. Bro. Bill and Sis. Mary are so pround of their children and grandchildren. You all have a wonderful bond in your family. Dana and I love you all very much. You are in our thoughts and prayers. (This is a wonderful memorial. Thank you for sharing it with us.)

Christmas 2008 our family went to the mountains. That was our favorite place to go. Christmas Eve we went shopping, Hoot was wanting him some cowboy boots. We had rode horses earlier that week he had the hat now all he needed was the boots. We found a store that had a great sale, you buy one pair you get two free. So Hoot, Russ (his dad) and Heather (his sister) all got a pair. Toot toot (Carson his nephew) had got a pair of rubber boots that day also. When we got back to the cabin they were all trying on their new boots. I'm sure alot of you have seen the movie stomp the yard. That movie has nothing on the Wesley Mountain Stomp. Hoot breaks out in a stomp, then Heather and nobody expected it from his Daddy, but something about the mountains made him cut loose. Then little toot toot. OH MY GOSH we laughed it was hillarious. Hoot thank you for the stomp and memories like that. When we think of you smiles comes to our faces. You are the Best and Momma loves you with all her heart. The memories keeps us going.
