I did not know Tony Snow personally but I always admired his truthfullness when reporting the news. Though he was involved in politics, he never really seemed to be too political. I watched him in news conferences as her served the country and thought he was a great American. My Prayers and best wishes go out to his family. Tony Snow, a great Patriot will be sorely missed.

I did not know Tony Snow personally, but I know he was a kind gentle man. I lost three members of my family from cancer, so I know what a struggle it is to get through each day. He was an inspiration to all who have or had suffered from this disease. I pray that he is now resting in peace. I know he was so pleased to have the position of Press Secretary to the WH. I remember him saying "this is the best job I've every had". He truly loved his work and did it well. God Bless this family at this time of grief. My sincere condolences, Marlene Harvey

We just felt compelled to pay our respects to the family of Mr Snow. Our family only knows him through Fox News and radio and has enjoyed countless hours listening to him over the years. His life was cut short and we are saddened by his passing. God bless his family.

Dear Snow family, Our hearts and prayers are with you all today. There are not too many public figures we care enough about to cry when they leave this life. I cried at hearing the news of Tony's departure. I know that knowing he is with God does not take your pain away. But knowing we will see our loved ones again is all that we have to hold. May God wrap His wings around you all and give you His peace, the only peace there is. Blessings to you all. Rod and Laura Porteous

I was deeply saden by the remarks of sanity town. I thinks you are probably using that term sanity, very loosely. Any one should be honored who stands by their convictions and never should a harsh word be said about someone who has died. He stood out in his profession and has the respect of both left and right for his clarity and honesty. He will be sorley missed. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

Tony Snow, a most respected, honest, charming, creative man with class, right to the end. He made listening to filthy news about Clinton and liberals tolerable and reported fairly and honestly as George Bush's press secretary. I would hope that no news of Bill, Hill, Obama, nor any of their unsavory, idiotic ilk could ever touch the news waves again lest we have another "Tony" as presenter. Thank God for Tony Snow, as he spoke for many conservatives, expecially those who have respect for our wonderful President Bush! mrc2008

My prayers go out to his family and friends. We will miss always his warm smile, wonderful words, incredible optimism, honesty, humor, fairness and compassion. Rarely do we come across such a man. He is the kind of man moms want their daughters to marry and guys want as a friend. He will be truly missed. May the Lord hold him in the hollow of his hand and may he rest in peace.

I will always remember the soft voice, the kind eyes, and the caring actions of one of the best. Tony just seemed the ultimate gentleman, and yet he defended his beliefs and convictions until the end. He dearly loved his country, and I guess that is why I loved him so much. He always saw the best in everything. Not all news people are this way anymore, and it was a great treasure to listen and watch one that was. Bonnie L. Dunahoo Beattyville, KY

There are no words adequate to describe Tony Snow! He was simply, Priceless! The world has lost a gentle, loving soul. If it fills me, someone who only knew him from his Fox days on TV and Radio and his White House correspondent days, with profound grief, how much more must his family be suffering! I'm sure that Tony passed on his indomitable spirit to them though and may it sustain them at this time! Well done Good and Faithful Servant! My deepest sympathy to Tony's Family, Susan Bill, Cincinnati, Ohio

A man who always stood on his principles and was not afraid to debate those principles with anyone. He always knew where he stood and so did everyone else. He was very intelligent, diplomatic, respectful, knowledgable, and personable. A truly honest principled conservative who was proud of his country and his God. I dare say we won't see one like him again. Rest in Peace, Tony.

My husband and I loved Tony Snow. We enjoyed his way of speaking, his humor, the way he handled the cancer each time it came back. If I had a son, I would have loved to have Tony as my son!!! I absolutely loved watching him on TV and on the radio His voice was so unique, I knew it instantly. The laughter in his voice endeared him to me too. I hope his wife and children realize how much Tony was respected and loved and that they will always remember his charm and grace to all people. He loved people like Jesus did and that's the best trait a person can have. We will miss him but will always remember him with that unstoppable spirit!!

Although Tony did not know me, I watched him from afar as he captained our high school speech & debate team to the national championships. I was on the speech side of the team, two years his junior....he was a long haired, gifted & talented child of the 70's then, and our school debate team was awesome because of him.. The heck with the politics...Tony was cool before all of that....Thanks, man , for letting me watch a cool guy from the beginning... mike g.., Princeton class of '75

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the news of Tony Snow's passing. He was someone whom we loved to watch & could always count on to be forthright, no matter the subject! From what he said, you knew he had a deep love of God, family & for his country! And most importantly, he was a man of integrity! All of this showed through in everything he did! As many others have said, I only wished I'd known him personally, but truth be told, I felt like I did even if it was through cable news! Scripture says... "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4 So, our prayers & condolences go out to his wife, his children. And to all of you thought of Tony as your friend too! May God grant to you one & all, HIS PEACE, HIS COMFORT & HIS STRENGTH for the days to come! A Loyal Fox Viewer Mrs. Darcy Noonkester Darlington, Maryland

I'll never forget reading Tony Snow's profound article, Cancer's Unexpected Blessings, (7/20/07) in Christianity Today, "When you enter the Valley of the Shadow of Death, things change. You discover that Christianity is not something doughy, passive, pious, and soft. Faith may be the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But it also draws you into a world shorn of fearful caution. The life of belief teems with thrills, boldness, danger, shocks, reversals, triumphs, and epiphanies. Think of Paul, traipsing though the known world and contemplating trips to what must have seemed the antipodes (Spain), shaking the dust from his sandals, worrying not about the morrow, but only about the moment." But more specifically, when he stated "Through such trials, God bids us to choose: Do we believe, or do we not? Will we be bold enough to love, daring enough to serve, humble enough to submit, and strong enough to acknowledge our limitations? Can we surrender our concern in things that don't matter so that we might devote our remaining days to things that do?" Thank you, Tony, for your wisdom, character, integrity and for the choices you made... thanks for giving us a great example of how to live our lives.

I think the thing I will always remember most about Tony Snow was his voice - it could be friendly and upbeat one minute, but, when the occasion required, it could be authoritative and strong. He also seemed to be very approachable on a personal level, someone you could high-five in the hall-way at work. Why do we suddenly seem to be losing the good guys in the media, such as Mr. Snow and Tim Russert? The world these days seems a little more adversarial with the loss of these two good men.

I will tell my sons to be like Tony Snow. A man we admire for many attributes. Humor, loyalty, steadfastness, love of family, professional standards, Godliness. My family sends his family our sincere condelences and we pray for his soul.

My condolences to the family of Tony Snow. My memories of Tony started when I listened to him on radio. He managed to maintain a cool head and wit even in the throes of profound ideological arguments. What a guy......I suspect he and Russert are tipping a cool one and having one heck of a good conversation.

But he, first with a start, and then with a wink, Said , "There's another star gone out, I think." --Lord Byron Tony Snow was a star, a fantastic American, the best journalism had to offer, and a man of great integrity. He was a star of a human being, and reinvented the meaning of the word courage. He will be remembered the same way that Tim Russert will be remembered--the best of the best.

Our family was very sad to learn about Tony Snow's death when we watched the news this a.m. We immediately began searching the web for any information that would give us more insight into Tony Snow's life. We are familiar with how Tony masterfully communicated to the world through radio and television, but the test of true integrity is how a man prioritizes his life. Several web sites relayed how Tony put his trust in God first and foremost, followed closely by his love and loyalty to his family and colleagues. Having cancer didn't make Tony bitter; it made him better. America needs more people of integity just like Tony Snow. We will remember the twinkle in your eyes and your genuine smile. God bless your family in the days ahead.

My son, Rollin, died in October, 2007, from colorectal cancer at the age of 45. He had all the experimental drugs and a hepatic pump but it was not to be. Rollin took in everything that was on the news about Tony. We looked at the web many times. Even this last year, I have searched for some information about his disease. I know the strength that Tony brought to his death as I saw that in my son. Unbelievable the faith that the Lord gives to those who believe. My love to his wife and children.

Though I never met Tony, he was a "friend" whose voice and manner invited my attention. Whether on TV, radio or behind the White House press podium, he exuded warmth and a wisdom beyond years. I remember years ago when he shared (on the radio) how his family suffered through a home fire (if memory serves, right after they'd done an extensive kitchen renovation). Instead of whining about it, he rejoiced in the safety of his family, to whom he was clearly devoted. Godspeed, Tony. See you on the Other Side.

Will Remember him from years of fill in duites On the EIB. For how he handled himself as he set out on Fox News Sunday and gave us something new each week. He was one of the best Press Secs I have seen as he would not take any Lib spin without calling them out on it and asking for facts. Or in many cases Giving them the facts. Most of all he should be remembered for how he spoke of his family, how is loved them with all his heart. The same is true for his country. A wonderful man, we will miss you Tony.
