One year has gone .... remembering Vern, his wonderful zeal and humour

Thank you Robyn for the wonderful Memorial Service, enabling so many colleagues and friends to mark his passing and celebrate his life. "The consumate dabbler in good deeds". His indelible mark is on so many of us. I had to laugh out loud at his famous expression "Don't tell Robyn"!!! Loved and sorely missed.

I have had some wonderful interactions with Vernon being his IT Consultant for the last five years. He was initially stern and firm but once I had gained his trustwe became great friends. He would always make me feel special each time we met making me a coffe just the way I liked it! We discussed several issues both professional & personal and I loved his company. He had a great sense of humor and wanted me to think big always... He was a selfless gentleman who loved everything but the idea of losing weight! I have lost a dear friend though thoughts of him will me always in my mind...

Sorry to hear of Vern's passing our thoughts are with you Love Doug & Marilyn (Tipper)

We never did get that around to that fishing trip but I will be eternally grateful for your wise Counsel, and of course for arranging for me to fish in your brother's overstocked dam - fond memories big fella!
